Dr. Mackenzie Kirkpatrick, O.D.
Dr. Kirkpatrick was born and raised in Bay City, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Health, with an Allied Health focus. During her time at A&M, she worked as a technician and insurance specialist at Precision Eye Care. It was there that she fell in love with the field of optometry, and she went on to graduate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2021. During her four years there, she had well-rounded exposure to a variety of clinical specialties including specialty contact lenses, vision therapy, cataract and refractive surgery management, and ocular disease. She also participated in Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH), with whom she traveled to Merida, Mexico and Belmopan, Belize to provide eye care to communities in need.
Aggieland has always held a special place in Dr. Kirkpatrick’s heart, as it is where she met her husband, Justin. They are thrilled to be back in Bryan/College Station and think it is the perfect place to raise their two boys, Jonah and Toby. They love being involved in their local church, cheering on the Aggies, and playing fetch with their golden retriever. Dr. Kirkpatrick is excited to rejoin the incredible team at Precision Eye Care and care for your family’s vision and ocular health!
